Ata Rangi in Martinborough are very good at making Pinot Noir.
The Crimson pinot is named after Project Crimson, a charitable trust that has planted over 75,000 PŌhutukawa and Rātā trees.
With the label we wanted a simple representation of the project. We created the hand drawn PŌhutukawa flower and the use of a modern traditional font to hopefully convey the time and care that the people at Ata Rangi put into this wine.
